About Our "Library"

 

The Media Center provides materials and services to every student and teacher at Brennen. It is an essential part of the instructional program and provides a laboratory for both teacher-directed and self-directed learning.

QUESTION to think about: How is our library like a room with no walls?
  Hours:

           7:30 - 2:30 for students

           7:15 - 3:30 for staff
  Access:

            K - 5  daily, individual access

            K - 1  weekly story time

            2       bi-weekly story time

            3 - 5  bi-weekly book exchange during Language Arts

            K - 2  directed visits by pre-arrangement

            3 - 5  reference/study skills sessions taught cooperatively

            3 - 5 "Class Day" enrichment periodically throughout year
