
Kindergarten- The kindergarten classes are currently
studying animals in the Science Lab and will then move on to plants.

First Grade- First grade students are learning about what causes
the seasons and will then study plants.

Second Grade- Second graders are currently studying the
three states of matter and will then begin learning about and
constructing a model of the layers of the earth .
Second Grade Science Standards
Third Grade- The third grade classes are working on a variety of
skills. These include: land forms, natural resources and
conservation.
Third Grade Science Standards
Fourth Grade- Fourth graders have just finished up extensive
studies of animals and their habitats. Each group researched
and wrote a report on the animal of their choice. Then each group
built a model of their animal's habitat. Finally, they presented their
reports and habitats to the class. The next topic of study will be
electricity.
Fourth Grade Science Standards
Fifth Grade- While some fifth grade classes are working on ocean
life and structure, others are learning about matter, mixtures and
solutions.
